Day 9-12

Saturday July 20th through Monday July 21nd, 2015

Well, true to form the rain once again is following the Donahue's west. We had torrential rain in Mojave all the way up into the Sierra's. The good news is that it was a beautiful day up on Mammouth Mountain and Shawn's cousin Mike took 5th place in the USA Cycling National Championships and we got there in time to see him on the podium!

It is a beautiful Sunday here in the Sierra Nevadas and the boys are off Mountain Biking. They should sleep well tonight. I'm planning to do some hiking so I can adjust to altitude and keep up with my father-in-law when we meet up in Yellowstone in a few weeks.

Monday we head out to Ellen's in Atascadero via a long slow drive through Yosemite over the Tioga Pass. Should be a great trip. I'll post more pictures here later this week.
